Welcome to Big Creek!
Our Big Creek main campus in Leslie County is where it all began. Even before Big Creek elementary closed in 2007, our teams were staying at the school in the summer while it was still operational. Upon closing, the Lord provided a way for us to obtain the facility. In February 2008, massive renovations began....and we continue to work hard to keep it in great condition for our groups
We are so thankful for many groups who have invested a lot of time and resources into making this facility a comfortable home for our service teams. Here's a summary of what to expect at our facility:
*10 conditioned bunkrooms sleeping 18 each.
*Each bunkroom has plenty of floor space for group meetings and fellowship
*20 showers with endless hot water
*Gated / fenced grounds for extra security
*Large front lawn for free time (with carpetball, volleyball, gaugau pit, and 9-square)
*Dining hall - seats 120 at a time
*Worship area (serves many purposes - also a warehouse and gym!)
*Fully Handicap Accessible with private accessible shower / bathroom.
*Our facility is approximately 10 miles from Hyden KY, 20 miles from Manchester KY, and 30 miles from Hazard KY. We serve residents in all three areas.

This is a view of our entire hallway. All sleeping rooms are located in the one hallway with guys on one end and girls on the other.
Our Kitchen can serve over 220 people easily.
This is the typical style bunks. All bunks are extra long to allow for luggage storage. All rooms have A/C, carpet, and comfy twin-size mattresses
Our outdoor area has a great space to gather and hang out.
This is a picture of our new private, accessible bath / shower with a locking door. The room has a roll in shower, ada toilet, grab bars, and ada sink.
